“Nicholas brings a wealth of communications and advocacy experience to the table,” Christopher Hamilton, chief executive officer of THA, said. “With his expertise, creativity and personal dedication to THA’s mission, it’s evident he is the right leader for this role. We’re very pleased he has joined our team and are lucky to have him leading our marketing efforts.”
A native of West Texas, Galbraith most recently served as the director of marketing and communications for the prestigious MCC Theater in New York City, where he led rebranding efforts and the launch of a new multi-theater complex in Manhattan. Previously, Galbraith served in various communications roles, including director of advocacy communications and media at Autism Speaks; communications director for Staci Appel’s 2014 congressional campaign in Iowa; as well as roles with the Empire State Pride Agenda, New York’s oldest LGBT advocacy organization; and Planet Forward, a climate project of the Center for Innovative Media in Washington, D.C.
“I am honored to be part of an innovative healthcare organization that grew out of community need and is committed to creating healthcare services that are free of stigma and judgement,” Galbraith, said.
Galbraith earned a bachelor’s degree in fine arts at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and a Master of Arts in media and public affairs at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
