We’re now offering drop-in testing at our Central Austin and San Antonio clinics and our outreach team is ready! Drop-in HIV & STI testing is available at Central Austin and San Antonio locations on a first-come, first-served basis for new and existing asymptomatic patients. Drop-in testing is meant for routine HIV and STI check-ups only.
If you are experiencing symptoms related to an STI, we will not be able to see you during our drop-in testing hours. Instead, we ask that you call 1-833-WE-R-KIND (1-833-937-5463) to make an appointment with a provider. Additionally, we will not be able to test patients with any COVID-19 symptoms.
Note – In addition to observed holidays, all Kind Clinic locations are closed the first Friday of every month for professional development.

In an effort to protect the safety of our patients and clinic staff, the following measures are in place for drop-in testing services:
- All patients must wear a mask and will be screened upon entry to the clinic for COVID-19 symptoms and temperature. If patients do not have a mask, one will be provided.
- Patients will register at the front door of the clinic, return to their vehicle, and receive text updates with estimated wait times and to call them back for testing. We can also accommodate several patients at a safe physical distance in the lobby if patients arrive without a vehicle.
- Kind Clinic will not be able to test patients with any COVID-19 symptoms.
