Texas Health Action (THA), an Austin non-profit organization that promotes sexual wellness by empowering the entire community through education, healthcare and advocacy, will launch a pioneering new effort to address the specific wellness needs of the transgender community.
The clinic will be the first in Central Texas to provide free, high-quality, gender-affirming medical care to transgender and gender non-binary individuals. These services are provided as an extension of THA’s Kind Clinic. The Kind Clinic is a full-service sexual health and wellness clinic dedicated to the treatment and prevention of sexually transmitted infections, including access to the HIV prevention drugs PrEP and PEP. The Kind Clinic provides state-of-the-art sexual health services to all people, regardless of race, creed, gender, gender identity, or sexual orientation, without judgment or stigma.
